A visit from afar

I've bee shooting Julie's little family for almost a year now. Her dad, stepmom, and sisters came to visit from Japan the past few weeks and she wanted to get together for some family photos that she can keep and her family can take back with them. The ground was soggy and the sun was bright but we made it work.

We had family photos taken when we went to visit my family in South Carolina for Christmas and they're very precious to me. They hang in our living room and remind me of all the fun we had on that trip and all the love we share across the miles.

Here are some of my favorite shots.

A new family

Dawn and Josh recently got engaged and their families (his two and her three) will become one big happy family soon! Spending a couple hours with them, you'd never guess that they hadn't spent their entire lives together. We had lots of laughs with these five! This was Dawn's Mother's Day gift from her soon-to-be-hubby and her kids. Her daughter said it would be hard to top this gift and I tend to agree. I also love to give photo gifts for Mother's Day.

C's turning one!

I first "met" Miss C at mama's maternity session back in May of last year. Since then, I've had the pleasure of photographing her and her family every few months or so. Mom and Dad have done an amazing job of cataloging her first year in photos. Watch her grow!

A family of 15!

This was my biggest family shoot to date! Shannah is a dear friend of mine and I've done photos for her family many times. This time, her husband's family wanted to get the whole crew together for some unforgettable memories. We had lots of fun!

My Second Shockley Wedding!

In Mid-May, I shot my second wedding, which was also my second wedding with the same family. Tracy was absolutely beautiful and you just feel the love at their home. It was an intimate wedding in their back yard and it fit them just perfect! Thank you for allowing me to share in your special day, Tracy and Josh!

Baby B

Earlier this month, I had the pleasure of working in a short newborn session with Miss B. She was less than two weeks old but so alert and awake and did not want to let us get those sleepy newborn shots! But we had fun trying with this sweet little peanut and her proud big brother.

Seniors 2011

Something new to me this spring that I've been able to try my hand at is creating memorable photos for a couple of beautiful ladies who are moving onto the next stage in their lives. Back in March, I had the pleasure of working with Morgan and her mom in capturing her personality for her high school senior photos. Then this past week, I worked with the beautiful and fun Jenn who is about to graduate from Cal State Fresno. Both of these ladies were all smiles, super-happy, and just a blast to be around. Here are some of the shots I captured.

Don't forget if you or your young adult needs senior photos, packages start at only $160 for an hour of shooting time and includes a $100 print credit that can be used for large prints, gift prints, wallets, announcements; anything you need!
